The hotel was great-sized and facilities were great clean, it had excellent location close to bus station, theatre and restaurants, many bars and Edinburgh for the firework finale of the Tattoo. Freshly prepared coffee, tea, and cheese served in the morning. Comforts of double room were fabulous - a storage, coffee, and soundproof windows. Friendly efficient and outstandingly helpful staff and everything was modern. The venue was ideally located close to a restored theatre:)))

Easy access to the city, only 5-10 minutes walk to princes st and George st. Staff were lovely and helpful. Quite basic but all you need for a weekend away. Great value for money
Our room was right on the car park so people could easily see in. The curtains had to be shut all the time. Not a big deal though!

The location of this hotel couldn't be better and I would recommend to anyone and shall. All the main attractions in the city centre are minutes walk away or there is easy access to the train station and bus stops. The room was very clean and spacious with a large TV and fantastic, clean shower and toilet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Considering the facilities and the location this is a great deal hotel and we hope to return soon.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the employees. The hotel's great location on the edge of the city center, close to the tram terminus and the bus station. Even Waverly Station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot.
1st night in room 007 on the ground floor. Was more senior / disabled. The containers were rolled past the room window at 6 a.m. Everything very noisy. The "double bed" is an imposition for 2 people. At best, something for newly-married couples who lie more on top of each other than next to each other. The following day we were able to switch to another room on the 3rd floor with twin beds. It was tolerable here. Significantly calmer. Unfortunately the beds are a bit worn out. The missing toilet brush takes some getting used to - but probably typical for the country. The temperature of the shower was difficult to regulate. No wardrobe, just a small wardrobe. Room service usually only in the late afternoon. Bad if you want to lie down in between after hours of tours. Generally one had the impression, the staff is massively understaffed. Breakfast room is just too small for the hotel. You always feel like you're in a station hall with the appropriate noise level. Also open to the lobby below. Additional noise from guests checking out in the morning. In addition, the permanent beeping of the automatic entrance door. Lean offer: No sausage, no cheese, no rolls. 2 types of toast, dry croissants. Every day scrambled eggs, sausages without their own taste, bacon and beans. Zero variety. This is no longer the Holiday Inn standard..
